Hey, I’m Damo
Aka, the guy who’s going to take you from renter to homeowner.
This all started when word about my newly minted construction career first reached home, a small town in the WA wheatbelt called Goomalling—you might know it as Gooma. Suddenly family, friends, and everyone I’d ever met (and their dog too) were coming to me for building advice.
They expressed a lot of frustration. Hurdles, delays, roadblocks, paperwork they couldn’t decode, and some straight-up furphies from site.
I knew that if they were experiencing this much trouble, chances are there were a lot more of you dealing with the same.
You need someone in your corner. Someone who knows the ins and outs, who’ll guide you, decode the lingo for you, and be honest with you.
I’m that person for you. I’ll put your concerns at ease and give you the building experience I wanted for my family and friends, when they were standing right where you are now.
Almost 20 years in, I know this industry like the back of my hand. The way only someone who’s been on the tools as much as I have could.
I spent years honing my craft as a carpenter and skilled cabinet maker, and several more as a roof plumber and renovator. I spent the next few in a builder’s office as a scheduler and estimator, studying three nights a week at the same time to get my Diploma in Building & Construction to bring everything I’d learnt on the job together.
I know how to get your home through finance. How to get it from a working sketch to site. How to get your timber loaded on site and cabinet doors hung in your new kitchen. And I don’t plan to gatekeep any of it—you’ll know where your home is at, every step of the way.
Think of it like having a mate with a direct link to the lenders, developers, and builders you need to get into a home of your own. Because that’s me—the insider with the connections and knowledge to make it happen.
Your building experience
A big part of creating a building experience I’d choose for my own family and friends is being choosy about who I work with.
I only partner with builders that I trust to get the job done, be transparent, and build the sort of quality homes I’d choose to live in myself.
I’m backed by a builder that delivers on all that and more, and in 12 months or less to boot.
